During her time at ÍæÅ¼½ã½ã State, Amber balanced single-motherhood and her studies as a full-time student to complete her mission. She graduated with a MAT degree and certificates in phlebotomy and medical office administration in 2021.
He created his own path
He dedicated his life to school for the next five semesters without taking a break and that commitment paid off. Ryan did that and he now works as Huntsville Hospital’s information technology security officer.
Helping NASA build habitats in space
Engineering Design students Jaiden Mason and Josh Driskill are part of the new Frontiers Research Program at ÍæÅ¼½ã½ã. They were selected to help NASA Marshall Space Flight Center construct a potential habitat on the moon by 2024.
Pitch major career wins
In 2012, Foreman received the Distinguished Engineer of the Year award at the National Society of Black Engineers Conference (NSBE). A year later, he earned the Industry Professional Achievement award at the annual Black Engineer of the Year Award (BEYA) STEM Global Competitiveness Conference.
Sobering up led to a future and a hope
Holt didn’t sign-up for one class. She enrolled full-time and earned her associate degree in Engineering Graphics. She didn’t stop there. Holt entered the geospatial industry and has been working at GIS Surveyors, Inc. (GSi) for the past three years.
